Ekoinvest in cooperation with Reko Praha finalized a contract for the reconstruction of Cooling Tower, Unit A4, Kosovo A Power plant. After the finalization of the project, the cooling efficiency has been increased and hence the higher power of power plant. The outdated cooling technology has been removed and new modern technology is installed in the same place. The project highlight was the installation of the slow-speed motors for the fan drive, which do not require the use of gearboxes.
